Well…. I am not sure about anyone else but I am OBSESSED with systems and trying to organize my life!! In regards to my home, my kids and myself! Sometimes I feel on top of the world and other times I feel like I am just trying to keep my head above water! Soooo…. I know I can’t be the only one feeling like this! So I thought this would be a great platform to share ideas and help each other out!
I am obsessed you all with listening to podcasts during the day and I have found a few that I just LOVE (I will write about these in another post in a few weeks). There is one that talks about simplifying and organizing sections our your life.
With school starting one of the major things I needed to find a system to get organized with the kiddos is papers, artwork, pictures, videos? So how have I decided to do this…
Start each of them their own Google Drive!!
I know I know… sounds super complicated but it is sooooo easy! I have NO time for scrapbooks or mounds of papers lying around until I have time to put them somewhere!
This is super simple. Create a New Google Account for your kiddo! You must put in your birthday if your child is under the age of 18. Make sure you save the password in your phone or some place where you can find it! One of my FAV apps to use to keep all of my passwords is this amazing app – Keeper App
Once you create their gmail account then sign into Google Drive and the sky is the limit! Here is an idea on how I organize (or try to organize) my kiddos account to keep important things from the year!
It has been soooooo easy keeping up with their paperwork so far doing this! And for their really important things I think they would want when they get older I have a hanging file system I have for each kiddo for the year that I just put the original in…
